Putting our troops in poppy fields is likely to result in the same addiction problems that came back from Vietnam and we still have people in the VA hospitals and on disability from that. Vietnam our troops were only near the golden triangle, now they will be stationed right in the poppy fields where they will use and engage in smuggling opium back here. There is so much in dope that exposing troops of the chance to make huge bucks is deny the reality that there is a level of temptation that it is unwise to expose people to. Madness, as if with the most optimistically outcome, the loss of 80 million to our enemies would make the least bit of difference.
